The Sunset Tanah Lot Tour by The Bali Bible
Your Bali holiday photo album is not complete without a shot of the beautiful Tanah Lot in the background. Sunsets here are what inspired postcards in the pre-millennial age when we still sent photos through the mail. On this tour you can spread the envy in real time as you share amazing views of the temple and setting sun with friends and family back home.
To make the trip even more worthwhile we take you first to Taman Ayun Temple, one of Indonesia’s UNESCO sites. This ancient temple complex built in 1634 by the King of Mengwi is a great place to get dramatic shots of Balinese architecture. As a half-day tour that also takes you through the village areas it’s a day to experience the culture and beauty of Bali outside the well known tourist areas.
Itinerary (5.5 hours - start at 2.30PM)
-Our friendly driver will be waiting at your lobby to pick you up at 2.30PM sharp.
-After approximately an hour drive, you’ll arrive at Taman Ayun, which literally translates as ‘beautiful garden’. It boasts expansive garden landscapes comprised of lotus and fish ponds. The gorgeous temple itself is surrounded by a narrow canal.
-Afterwards you’ll visit our highlight of the day: Tanah Lot temple. Enjoy the ocean view while admiring the incredible temple perched on a rock. It’s surreal. Yes, you’re finally ‘in Bali’.
