Kagura Japanese Nusa Dua
Hodaka Hidemaro, a familiar name for teppanyaki enthusiast around Asia for decades. Born in Nagona, Japan. Hodaka-san was raised in an original birth place of soba and wasabi. He started cooking on early age, and move around the country ; from Tokyo, Azabu Juban, and Roppongi to mastered the authentic way of serving beef dishes, teppanyaki, shabu-shabu, hot stone steak, and yakiniku.
After mastering his technique in his country, Hodaka-san flew to Jakarta in late 70’s to Jakarta, and had a blessing opportunity to serve for prestigious clienteles as late Indonesian presidents and families. He served for late H. M. Soeharto, B. J. Habibie, late Dr. K. H. Abdurrahman Wahid, Megawati Soekarno Putri, and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
Besides his popularity as an authentic japanese chef among Jakarta’s elite, Hodaka-san also has few decades of experiences on managing a restaurants, and he has a long list experienced in world-class high-end brand such as Mulia Group. His ability to create an exquisite experience to each and every customer who enter his door is the key of his success to remain the best for decades.
Kagura Authentic Japanese Cuisine is currently his relatively new project in Nusa dua, Bali. Located in the complex of Indonesian Tourism Development Centre, Hodaka-san is creating an authentic Tokyo style fine dining restaurant. The menu has a wide range of selection, such as ; High quality Angus Beef 7+ and Seafood options. In his restaurant, he keep all ingredients on a highest quality possible, and always fresh, all stock never lasted more than 48 hours on his inventory, and each and every ingredients must go through thorough checking before serving.
