    Barong is one of the most famous dances. Which tells the struggle between good and evil. The essence of the story taken from the Indian Barong dance puppet story is the largest Hindu Mahabharata. In this story, one in five Pandavas (5 families), Sahadeva, will be sacrificed by her mother (goddess Kunthi) who will be offered to the goddess Durga (Shiva's wife has a scary face) but when sacrificing Kunthi Goddess feels very sad and does not want to sacrifice her son and he wants to cancel. Because of that, the cunning Goddess Durga finally Kunthi immediately changed his mind and became very angry with Sahadeva. and finally Sahadeva is tied under a tree, waiting for the right time for courtesy. that's when Vishnu gave grace to Sahadeva which made him invincible. and it's time the goddess Durga to kill Sahadeva, but they can't do it. finally even the goddess Durga asked Sahadeva to commit suicide (Goddess Durga) so that she could return to heaven.
    at that time, in this fight no one won or lost.
    After he was killed, came Kalika (student of Goddess Durga) and tried to kill Sahadeva. but when it disappears and turns into a wild boar, because it is hunted by people it turns into a trunk of a bird (big bird) and then it hits the Sahadeva. again when it disappears and turns into Goddess Durga in the form of Rangda. at that time he turned into barong Sahadeva and fought
    The dance ended with a dagger dance, played by several people who tried to stab themselves with a dagger but no one was hurt, because their bodies had been infiltrated by magical powers.
