It is also considered sacred by local people as it has a Pura or a Hinduism Temple in the middle of the forest. In Ubud Monkey Forest, visitors can walk around while enjoying the beauty of nature. Sure, it has numerous green trees that are conserved well in order to protect animals inside. As information, you will not only find monkeys here but other animals including beautiful birds. The most important thing is that you should not disturb monkeys here. This way, they will not disturb you back. Make sure not to carry foods, wear hats, and do suspicious movements that cause monkeys to steal your stuff or attack you. Yes, those monkeys are quite aggressive sometimes when they are hungry. The forest is around 8 hectares and placed not far from a local funeral.
